I can't stop finding these incredible artists.
On a whim, I searched for "watercolors" in the Google+ Communities page and found the Watercolors group. I was blown away by some of the personal work that people are posting there, as well as links to stuff off-site. Watercolors continually amaze me in how diverse the results of the medium can be.
I really like his landscape paintings--bold colors with a wide value range. He's also made some process videos that are informative to watch.
Carrie Waller paints realistic watercolors. I haven't really paid much attention to realism in watercolors, but something about her stuff changed my mind. The fact that she's raising a family during the day, teaching workshops, frequently moving due to her husband being in the military and finding time to paint at night is a testament to her dedication. What's my excuse?
